Mijn kapper P. vindt mij geen gezellige klant. Ik klets te weinig. Hij houdt van een gezellig gesprekje met zijn klanten, zo zei hij vanochtend. "Er zijn genoeg onderwerpen om over te kletsen!" Zo waren er volgens hem: het weer, voorstellingen in theater, vakanties en soms gezondheid & ziekte.
Over al deze onderwerpen had ik best leuk mee kunnen kletsen . Ik vind het namelijk prachtig weer, ik ga zondag naar een voorstelling, eind oktober ga ik naar Barcelona en ik ben snipverkouden.
Maar ik heb helemaal niks gezegd. Ik hou niet van dat geklets bij de kapper. Van dat bezigheidsgelul.
Ik heb vriendelijk gehumt terwijl kapper P. zijn meningen verkondigde. Soms heb ik iets gevraagd over m'n haar. Of het iets korter of anders kon. En aan het eind van de rit heb ik nog iets heel slims gedaan. Ik heb gevraagd wanneer kapster A. werkt. Kapster A. kletst namelijk niet. Die houdt g'oon haar kop, net als ik, en af en toe vraagt ze of ik m'n haar zo mooi vind of dat het nog anders moet. Punt.
Kapster A. werkt de hele week, behalve op vrijdag.
Mooi.
Dan weet ik dat ik voortaan op vrijdag geen kappersafspraken meer moet maken.

Tis werkelijk bij elke kapper hetzelfde. Ik vind het echter wel gezellig. Een beetje slap ouwehoeren terwijl mijn kapsel wordt bijgewerkt. Misschien scheelt het ook dat mijn kapper een kennis van me is.
