09/13/2002 Entry: "jongetjes en muziek"
Iedereen die kinderen kent weet waarschijnlijk dat je voor de meest vreemde dingen kan komen te staan. Ik heb geen meisjes-kinderen maar ik zie om me heen regelmatig moeders die hun dochters in stoere kleren willen hijsen, terwijl de meisjes-in-kwestie alles roze en prinsesserig willen. Dus ook bij min 10 moet die tutu aan en dat kroontje op. Da's koud.
Twee jongetjes hebben ook zo hun eigenaardigheden. Afgezien van pokemon-gymschoenen (Yuck!) zit 'm het niet zo in de kleren. Wel in speelgoed en stoer doen en piefpafpoef en god mag weten wat er nog meer in kleine jongetjeshoofden van belang is. De Belangrijke Jongetjes-Zaken veranderen kwa thema ook nogal snel. Dus als je net gewend bent aan dino-skeletten of Dolfje Weerwolfje-boeken, moet je even later flux overschakelen op Bionicle of Lego of Piemelgrapjes of het thema Dood. Maar dan komt het moment dat de jongetjes zo hun eigen ideeen over muziek beginnen te bedenken. En dat is ook het moment dat je denkt: "Komt-ie echt uit MIJ?" en "Van wie heeft-ie dat?" en "En hoe moet dat goddorie nou zonder koptelefoon?"
Dat moment kwam hier met de komst van de Jody-verering. Jody Bernal, dat opgeschoten snotaapje dat liedjes zingt en kleine meisjes in katzwijm doet vallen.

Het mannetje had een hit met Que si Que no En uitgerekend dat lied sloeg hier in als een bom. Dat moest worden aangeschaft.

Vanavond kwam het verlossende woord. Een mp3 van het te veel geprezen Que si Que no zat in mijn mailbox. Van iemand met een programma dat wel Jody-compatible is. Volkomen belachelijk maar ik slaakte een luid HOEZEE! Morgen kan ik de twee jongetjes Jody laten horen!
Geen idee waar het hele lied over gaat trouwens. Ik gok iets van wil ze wel of wil ze niet.
