Hunkemuller, for Any Body, daar stond ze onder. Met een enorme zwarte paraplu die binnenstebuiten was geklapt. Een hoop gefruts en speciale zwaaien om het ding weer in een normale vorm te krijgen en dat lukte dus niet. Uiteindelijk schoten voorbijgangers te hulp. Met z'n 4-en is de parpaplu weer in paraplu-model teruggebracht. Ik stond aan de overkant een Geduld-Meditatie uit te voeren. De 25 en 16 waren al tig keer langsgeweest maar de 24 natuurlijk weer niet. Potgrond, tasjes, een plant, 2 sets goedkope dekbedhoezen om m'n voeten gedrapeerd en ondertussen een bakje aardbeien naar binnen werken. Het onvermijdelijke gesprekje met buurvrouw over "hoe kloterig die 24 wel niet reed" en "dat ze ons vast aan het oplichten waren met dat tramschema." Ze hadden er vast stiekem een paar trams uitgehaald. Dat werk. Zuchterdezucht.
Eenmaal in de tram met al m'n spullen nog 1 plek vrij.
De bestuurster van de tram kermde luidkeels over voetgangers en stoplichten. Schuin voor me was een vrouw met een hoofdoekje op bezig een mobiele telefoon tussen het hoofddoekje en haar gezicht te prutsen. Voorin zat een man met een doos die iedereen van harte welkom heette. Was blijkbaar ook alleen voor mij grappig.
Een enorm verwijfde man met trui noncha over zijn schouders en zo'n hoofdgebaar voor een (zeer kleine) zwiepende lok speurde de tram af. Waarnaar vraag je je af.
Een bloedmooi meisje met een uiterst chagrijnig hoofd loerde naar een bloedmooie jongen die aan iedereen vroeg waar de halte Gerrit vd Veen was. Aan iedereen behalve aan het meisje. Stomme trut. En natuurlijk zat die onschuldig gekke mevrouw van uit de buurt er ook. Tegen iedereen aan te tetteren over weet ik veel wat. Het ging vast weer over het feit dat alleen de deuren van tram 24 vanzelf opengaan en dat je niet op het knopje hoeft te drukken. Of zoiets.
Thuis heb ik de plant in een grote pot gezet, de nieuwe dekbedhoezen in de wasmachine gestopt, de was van de logee opgehangen en nu ga ik een enorm grote kop koffie zetten.
