De zondagavond staat bekend om de KRO-detectives. Dangerfield, Prime Suspect, Ruth Rendell en vroeger Morse. Sinds kort heeft de KRO weer een nieuwe aangekocht: Duggan.
Duggan is een vrij onschuldige detective. Eigenlijk totaal niet spannend en de hoofdrolspeler, meneer Duggan himself is nou ook niet echt je dat.
Maar wij kijken er wel naar. Wat wil namelijk het geval: Duggan is een Engelse detectiveserie, maar geheel in Nieuw-Zeeland opgenomen. Op een van de mooiste plekken van het land: tussen het Noorder-en Zuidereiland. Tussen Wellington en Picton. De zogenaamde Marlborough Sounds. Van Wellington op het Noordereiland kun je met een 3 uur durende boottocht naar Picton op het Zuidereiland. Tussen alle redelijk saaie belevenissen van detective Duggan door is er genoeg tijd om te genieten van mooie omgeving, typisch NZ-se huizen, het accent met de I in plaats van de E , het mooie bootje van Duggan en gewoon het geheel.
