He getverdemme. Nou dit weer.
Ga ik weer eens gezellig bij Suffie op de thee (in de hoop dat hij me een gevulde koek zal serveren, maar helaas, die kon je alleen winnen als je Echt wat weet en dat doe ik niet) maar goed, thee, of koffie, of een alcoholische versnapering, het zat er niet in.
Wel een testje. Of je gehoor nog in orde is.

Er is veel mis maar mijn Gehoor doet het prima, dankuwelbeleefd.
Opgewekt en zonder vrees ging ik De Gehoortest in. Kan me niks gebeuren. Mijn oren horen als een tierelier. Hoezee.

Forget it but.
Je gehoor is twijfelachtig. Een bezoek aan een KNO-arts voor een controle en meting is aan te bevelen. Uitroepteken.

Jaja, stom testje via internet zult u zeggen. Net zoiets als die idiote tarot-kaarten. Deugt voor geen meter en geeft de grenzen aan waar virtueel ophoudt en irl zou moeten beginnen.
Maar ik zit hem nu toch wel een beetje te knijpen.

Ik ben beroepsmatig niet afhankelijk van mijn oren. Die drammerige abonnees die in mijn oren gillen kunnen me gestolen worden. Ik luister graag naar muziek maar speel niet in een bandje, orkest of geef recitals op bekende podia. Ik moet het van m'n ogen hebben. De vraag: 'wat zou je erger vinden: blind of doof' heb ik altijd heel stellig met Blind kunnen beantwoorden. En dat is nog steeds zo. Niets kunnen zien lijkt me absolute horror.

Ik vond de uitslag van dit testje niet zo fijn vanwege een opstapeling van dingetjes.
Ik ben verslaafd aan neusdruppels
want: ik heb altijd een verstopte neus.
daarom: adem ik door m'n mond (zegt men)
gevolg: iets met tandvlees en enge mondhieg-termen in elk geval niet goed voor algehele staat van mond, tandvlees en tanden. (of zoiets. Ik verdring dit soort dingen zo snel mogelijk.)
Tel daarbij op: een bijzonder interessante geschiedenis van keelontstekingen in het verleden. En een erg levendige fantasie over het verwijderen van wat amandeltjes links en rechts. Ik was 5 maar ik Weet details. Heus!

Al met al heeft dat Achterlijke Gehoor-Testje het dus wel voor elkaar dat ik binnenkort een bezoekje aan de huisarts ga brengen. Misschien heeft zij zo'n machien staan wat de schoolarts heeft: zo'n apparaat waar de oren van kinderen mee gemeten worden. MET coole koptelefoon. Want die KNO-artsen, die ken ik nou wel.
