Een banaan die 3 dagen onder in mijn tas blijft liggen. Mijn schuifjes zijn kwijt. (alle 45) Iemand wil een foto en die ligt vast ergens in een doos. (maar welke?) Ik heb ergens een berging in dit huis maar daar durf ik al een jaar niet meer te komen. Ik behelp me nu al geruime tijd met 3 sets kleding die, na de wasbeurt, in de slaapkamer blijven liggen. Klerenkast is een onneembare vesting. Administratie van 3 jaar door elkaar. Alle cd's in de verkeerde hoesjes. Idem voor videobanden. In ons atelier staat voor 2 verbouwingen hout. En ik zag laatst een blikje zalm uit een kerstpakket van jaren geleden. (gewoon teruggelegd) Een volle doos met stiften die het niet meer doen. Boekenkast met 2 dubbele rijen boeken. Stapels tijdschriften die niemand meer leest in een tijdschriftenmand. Een stoeltje waarvan de zitting kapot is.

Een zucht van herkenning gaat er door me heen en tegelijkertijd denk ik, aan die was die er nog in moet, aan die was die nog opgevouwen moet worden, aan de stapels papieren in mijn werkkamer, aan de topzwaar dreigende te raken stoel op mijn slaapkamer (waar is die stoel überhaupt, je kan hem niet meer zien). En iedere keer besef ik weer: er moet iets gebeuren. Maar ik ben wel blij dat ik niet de enige ben :-)
