01/14/2002 Entry: "DE BLUFJES"
Van de week, in een opwelling, heb ik de nieuwe CD van BLØF gekocht.
Dat was een schot in de roos.
Ik ben eigenlijk helemaal niet zo'n BlØf-fan. Heb hier en daar wel een cd-singeltje liggen en (zoals eerder beschreven in Het Muziekstokje) hou ik erg van het nummer "Hier".
Nou wist ik wel dat deze nieuwe CD "Blauwe Ruis" vooral over het thema dood zou gaan. Dat had ik op een ander moment misschien ingewikkeld gevonden, maar nu leek het me wel toepasselijk. En dat bleek te kloppen.
Hij is prachtig, deze CD.
Niks zemelig gedoe in de trant van 'ik mis je zo' maar fijne harde gitaren, harmonieuze melodieën en natuurlijk de stem van Paskal Jakobsen.
Die stem vond ik altijd al mooi. Ik hou ook erg van de manier waarop hij woorden uitspreekt. Vooral als hij de letters -t- en -g- moet gebruiken gebeurt er iets met mij.
Er zit een fractie van een seconde tussen de vorige letter en de letter -t-. Alsof er een beetje lucht tussen zit. En die -g- is gewoon een goeie -g-.
Hm. Ik geloof dat ik het niet goed kan uitleggen maar ik viel er voor. Iemands stem, ook als hij/zij niet zingt is voor mij nogal belangrijk. Ik val op stemmen, zogezegd. Of ik knap er finaal op af.
Ik weet nog dat ik voor het eerst 'liefs uit londen' hoorde. Het viel me gelijk op: deze man praat niet slordig of mompelend maar spreekt woorden helemaal uit, zonder dat het overdreven klinkt. (zie: Kinderen-voor-Kinderen) Niks zo erg als nasaal geneuzel of Wassenaarse 'erw-en'.
De nieuwe CD ga ik hier van harte aanbevelen. Ook als je niks met dood te maken hebt. Ik bedoel, DIT is toch een prachtig zinnetje?

Weer behoorlijk prijzig: 48,46 gulden, maar dan heb je ook wat. Lekker voor in de trein of zomaar, als je een paar uur alleen thuis bent.
