12/18/2001 Entry: "MUZIEKSTOKJE"

Vandaag kreeg ik de vraag van EVERDIEN van CLOCKWISE of ik mee wilde doen met Het Muziekstokje. Ik geloof dat er meerdere soorten Stokjes in omloop zijn. Maar Het Muziekstokje, dat vind ik wel wat.

Ik word geacht de laatste 3 cd's die ik draaide hier te vermelden en waarschijnlijk ook te vertellen waaróm. Okee dan. Vooraf nog even dit over ik-en-muziekjes. In het algemeen, zeg maar.

Ik hou érg van muziek maar overdag staat hier nooit een radio of cd-speler aan. Simpelweg omdat er van de mensen & mensjes in dit huis al zóveel lawaai afkomt, dat ik daar geen achtergrondgeluid bij kan gebruiken. Dan snap ik absoluut niet meer wat ik aan het doen ben en heb alleen nog de neiging STILTE! te brullen. Ik werk ook nog 4 dagen in de week, en dan moet ik als ik thuiskom al helemáál niet denken aan wat voor geluid dan ook.

's Avonds daarentegen, en soms ook 's nachts is het mijn muziektijd. Op de discman, that is. Iedereen in bed, ik nog even op en dan snoeihard geluid op m'n hoofd. Fijn!

Die cd's in de discman zijn nogal willekeurig. Wisselt per humeur. Zoals bij iedereen waarschijnlijk. Dus misschien kunt u afleiden wat voor een soort humeur ik de laatste keer had:

CD 1: Live-cd van BlŘf, Oog-in-oog. En dan alleen het nummer "Hier". De rest heb ik eigenlijk nog nooit beluisterd, terwijl ik die cd al een hele tijd in huis heb. Zo gaat dat vaker. Ik vind 1 nummer mooi en koop de hele cd. Neen, geen brander. (alhoewel juist deze cd wel weer een gebrand exemplaar is > dit wordt een chaotisch verhaaltje..) Juist het nummer "Hier" omdat het live ontzettend lekker klinkt. ("hier ben ik veilig, hier ben ik sterk, hier ben ik heilig, dit is mijn kerk, dit is mijn haven, hier leg ik aan, hier kan ik slapen, hier moet ik staan. Hier ligt mijn hart voor jou.") Als je het zo bekijkt een wat brave tekst, maar gezongen door Paskal J.vind ik het erg mooi. Het gitaartje is ook prettig.

CD 2: Keith Jarett, the Köln Concert. Piano, rustig, beetje jazzy maar niet dat heen & weer gepiel waar ik zo'n hekel aan heb en waar ik nog onrustiger van word. Ooit voor het eerst gehoord bij mijn eerste vriendje (ik was 17), nadat het uit (ex-vriendje dus) was en hij op kamers was gaan wonen. Vond ik erg stoer, op kamers wonen en de eerste keer dat ik daar kwam stond dit op. Hij had een joekel van een kamer waar (nog) bijna niks instond dus het klonk daar werkelijk fantastisch! Heb me lange tijd beholpen met een krakerig cassette-bandje en uiteindelijk een jaar of 2 geleden zelf de cd gekocht.

CD 3: Best of the 70's. Vage verzamel-cd, vorig jaar op vakantie in la Belgique in een supermarkt gekocht voor 5 piek. Geweldige muziekjes. Eigenlijk voor in de auto. Draai alleen Kiki Dee (I've got te music in me); J.J. Cale (cocaine) Santa Esmeralda (don't let me be misunderstood); John Miles (music) en The Boomtown Rats (I don't like mondays)

Wel, dit is echt een eerlijke opsomming van de laatste 3. Voor het geval u nu denkt dat mijn muzieksmaak totaal verknipt is: Ik heb ook SKIK, AcdaendeMunnik, Brel, Bachs 2-de vioolconcert, Buena Vista Social Club, the Beatles, en heel veel rare cd-singles (omdat ik toch vaak maar 1 nummer de moeite waard vind) en heel veel verzamel-bandjes van vroeger, die ik sinds kort weer kan draaien op mijn nieuwe ghetto-blastertje. Nou, zegt u het maar: is het voer voor psychologen of kan het er mee door?

Ik geef dit Muziekstokje door aan CLAVER Niet omdat ik haar ken (briesch!), maar omdat juist ZIJ altijd al veel vindt van muziek en daar, geheel uit zichzelve, ook vanalles over schrijft.
